Our mission is simple - we want to make CyberSecurity accessible, understandable, and part of people's everyday life. Through our work we'll explore concepts, provide resources and help support communities through education. There is a place for everyone in CyberSecurity, we just need to meet people where they are.
We strive to be professional, follow scientific methods, check our sources and not let personal bias get in the way of the truth. But we also understand our audience, this site is written in a way to invite people (end users) into our space. We view our 'informal moments' as being honest and down to Earth.
We also really want to hear from our end users. Give us your questions, ideas, tips, feedback, and/or success stories.
At the moment Trusted But Verified is one person, however future collaborations are desired.
Sydney Patton has an AS from Laurel Ridge Community College in CyberSecurity, and a BS in CyberSecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University. She is scheduled to start her Master's Degree in CyberSecurity and Information Assurance this October.
The threat to information assurance and availability, at her local library, thrust her into community activism and leadership.
